QUETTA – A suicide blast occurred near a protest organized by the Balochistan National Party (BNP) in Balochistan, but thankfully, all participants, including BNP leader Akhtar Mengal, remained unharmed.
The explosion took place close to the protest site, where Akhtar Mengal and other party members were participating. Despite the blast’s proximity, no casualties were reported. The situation has sparked concern, with the government urging political leaders to cooperate with authorities to prevent any exploitation of the circumstances by hostile elements.
A spokesperson for the Balochistan government appealed to Sardar Akhtar Mengal and his party to work with the government to ensure peace and stability, emphasizing that the enemy could potentially capitalize on the situation if the situation remains volatile.
